If your response to the Black Lives Matter movement is to say that all lives matter, you need to read this.

This site is dedicated to astrophotography... but I can’t and won’t ignore world events.

As a middle-aged, middle-class white man I am privileged in many ways.  I recognise that I gain enormous privilege due to the colour of my skin.  

That’s not OK.

I recognise that I will never be able to completely understand the injustices that people of colour face on a daily basis.  I understand that there isn’t a quick fix to the oppression of black people across the globe but I stand in solidarity with the black community fighting for change.
